Kralowetz GesmbH was founded in 1955 by Karl Kralowetz sen. In the early years, gravel and ballast were transported for the construction of the West Motorway and the Ybbs hydroelectric power station.

In 1961, the company responded to the emerging increase in demand for heating oils and fuels by purchasing its first tank truck. This transport segment offered expansion opportunities until 1973. The worsening energy crisis in the 1970s required a reorientation to meet market demands.

In 1974, the company began transporting liquid foodstuffs – today Kralowetz GesmbH is one of the strongest transport companies in this field in Central and Eastern Europe. Following the opening of the “Iron Curtain” and the resulting strengthened economic relations with these countries, two branches were established in Eastern Europe.

1998 Company establishment in Timisoara (Romania)

In 1999, the company ETG Gütertransport GesmbH was acquired.

ETG exclusively transports liquid chemicals. Through this acquisition, we are able to cover all areas of liquid transport throughout Europe.

2000 Company establishment in Pardubice (Czech Republic)

Membership in TANKCEU and TANKCEU Food

Commissioning of the tank truck interior cleaning facility (EFTCO certified)

Establishment of Kralowetz Holding Ges.mbH by Rainer and Martin Kralowetz with acquisition of all business shares
